Your authority on Twins players’ batting stances
Posted on August 28th, 2008 – 10:45 AMBy Michael Rand
Sassbottom passed this along to us a couple of days back, and we regret not opening it sooner. We had not seen the fine work of the man who calls himself Batting Stance Guy. He has an entire web site devoted to mimicking the stances of past and present players from particular teams. If you’ve seen the montage of the Twins before, sorry — you’re about to see it again. Hilarious and often spot-on. Please do enjoy.

That, my friends, is top of the pops. Gladden, Morneau, Torii, Gaetti, and Fatest Kent Hrbek are standouts.
priceless
I think after the “Knocked Up” guys found out about Mr. Skin and abandoned their business plan, they founded battingstanceguy.com … And I’m glad.
Like any good caricature, the exaggerations are the best part. I love every single one of these.
Check out the 2008 All-Start Starting Lineup. The Joe Mauer gets even better.
The Joe Mauer in the 2008 All-Star one was fantastic.
is that… is that a wiffle ball bat? Awesome!
Do you think he uses the:
“I’m the batting stance guy” line to pick up ladies at the local watering hole? Do you think that line works? Female Randballers would you be impressed?
Female Randballers would you be impressed?
Probably not as impressed as they would be if you walked up in a RandBall T-shirt*
*T-shirt does not exist

So walking up shirtless? That might work better for some than others.
What exactly was Darren Shaper saying to Sid in this quote:
“Pour me in your mouth, suck it up and enjoy the run.”
And people were all up in arms about Erin Andrews fraternizing with the players?
I appreciate his passion, but not his fashion. If he walked up to me in that jersey/shorts/hightops outfit, no, I would not be impressed. Baseball pants and RandBall shirt, maybe.
Couldn’t he at least have filmed at a diamond or batting cage for a little more authenticity, instead of his Mom’s back yard?
You gotta love the ridiculous Torii Hunter bat throw.
saw this a while ago..only one I didn’t like was JJ…he should have swung like the was a ball near his ankles like is was a pitching wedge…Morneau and Hunter were my faves
