Who can blame Chalmers and Arthur? They hadn't been through the training yet.

Now the NBA has set them up for an entire extra year of abusing their super-athlete status with drugs and philandering. Really, I think that the NBA should apologize. If only they'd gotten to these two misguided youths even a day earlier ... it's heartbreaking, it really is.

My thought is completely off topic. Every time I read this story I can't help but think of "Super Nintendo Chalmers."

That Kevin McHale is a genius. To have the foresight like that to trade away a low character guy for some money and a couple picks next year. I think this franchise is in for good things with that guy at the helm...

I'd still take Chalmers and his bong resin over those 2 draft picks who will turn into 2 no-name Europeans next year. Plus the Twin Cities currently have a opening for a trouble making pot smoking athlete.

McHale really screwed this one up. It could have done so much for his long-term plan of destroying the team if we had taken Chalmers in the first round and kept him.
