Kevin Love appears to be your NCAA ‘09 cover boy

EA Sports is unveiling the cover for the new NCAA ‘09 game on Thursday, and it certainly seems as though new Timberwolf Kevin Love is going to be on it. How do we know that? Well, according to a press released passed along by a friend of RandBall, Love and UCLA coach Ben Howland are going to be on hand to answer questions and play the game with members of the media. Seeing as how it would be awkward to invite Love to answer questions about a new Michael Beasley or O.J. Mayo cover, we have to assume he is the man.
Sadly, this is happening in California, thus depriving RandBall nation a chance to further advance its mancrush on Mr. Love.

Just kidding, kind of. Wait, he doesn’t play in the NCAA anymore, does he? Well, I guess he does play for the Timberwolves, that’s close enough.
My guess is that Rand posted this because we are having our 1st Annual Season Ticket Draft tomorrow night. I would bet money that Randball shows up in a #42 jersey. This will work out perfectly because I plan to mug him in the parking lot and steal it.
