Clayton J. sends us an image of Vikings running back Adrian Peterson and his appearance at Eagan High School last Friday. The school won some sort of competition sponsored by Vitaminwater, and the reward was a pregame pep talk from the star runner and being led onto the field by sir Peterson himself. As you can see by the number of gawkers in the background, this was a pretty big deal for the good people of Eagan. Unfortunately, the Wildcats lost (in overtime), while Peterson’s two fumbles would have been a major source of discussion if not for a flag-aided rally Sunday by the Vikings. We would not, however, implicate Peterson’s beverage sponsor or Friday appearance for any of these maladies.
