*Epic Carnival has your surreal moment of the day: Gisele Bundchen, Kelly Ripa and some guy wearing a Tom Brady jersey singing together. Bridget Moynihan and her 1-year-old son were not available for comment.

*Pro Football Weekly does not have the qualms about quoting anonymous sources that some folks have. That’s bad for journalism, but good for those who don’t like Brad Childress: “Brad (Childress) is an ego guy,” an NFL pro scout from a rival team told PFW. “I like him, but he’s no genius now. I’m just glad they got him and Rick Spielman at the helm. As long as those two guys are running the show, we’ll always have a chance to beat them.”

*Mike Singletary is going to run the 49ers his way, thanks very much.

*Benedictine nuns bought shares in a nine-time defending champion Croatian soccer club.
