Oopes. My post about KG in the "funniest thing you heard" thread would have been a better fit here. Yeah, this is a great idea...maybe until it happens somebody should just do an uncensored MXC-type take on some bench clearing brawls. That could be funny.

If we're going to mic up past coaches, I want John Wooden and Dean Smith. You wouldn't get all the swearing, but you sure would get smarter.

Is there any way they can go back and mic past coaches? The Coaches that I really want to hear are retired. Mike Ditka, Bob Knight, and Jim Mora would be at the top of my list.

...on which games are televised and players are mic’ed up, uncensored

Imagine how awesome those Coors light "coaches" commercials would be on that station... Ozzie Guillen just got a new sponsor.

I think most TV producers and figured out that you can't just show live feed of mic'd athletes or refs. My favorites was a Gophers hockey game about 5-10 years ago where the refs were discussing what to do with one of the players after a fight. They were mic'd so we could hear their discussion and one ref said "I say we DQ the [redacted, rhymes with pucker]." I think we were even watching the late night replay of the game and they hadn't removed or beeped it.

In summary, I'm in favor of the swear channel.

‘I know I was a little late on the whistle. I’m working on it.’

he added, I have taken several courses. Look, this isn't something I can change by the next play, maybe even the next game... it's a process.
