TCTOD: Lattewarrior and frugal gift ideas

We’re doing very little actual “writing” here on this site today, but that’s fine. You guys are bringing the heat. Next up: Lattewarrior has something to discuss:

In these lean economic times, thoughtful/practical/unique gifts under $20 are more sought-after than ever. I’d love to see a thread dedicated to Frugal RandBall Gift Ideas, complete with links when necessary. For instance, I recently ordered a mixtape USB seen here.

That’s my Commentator Talker suggestion. Do with it what you will.

Does it have “Hunger Strike” by Temple of the Dog on it? Then count our early 1990s grunge sensibility in.

You said it. I’m serious - that gift did NOT go over well.

Picture frame with a picture of the happy couple FTW! Total cost of around $10. Perfect for any and all family.

For just about any guy: 6-pack of a good beer.

(Related side note to Dave MN- found some Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA in Antioch, IL this weekend. It’s sublime.)

This post appears to be sponsored by gifts.com (at least when I opened it) is that a coincidence Mr. Randball?

They have a link for gifts under $25. Probably not really what you were looking for, but I thought it was apropos.

Does $20 still get you a lap dance at the local gentlemen’s clubs?

Childress said: “Yeah, I had a vodka as big as your head last night.”

Simply Awesome.

If you’d planned ahead, four RandBall t-shirts…

I might know where you can buy your MN loved ones 2 tickets to the January 7th Wolves vs. OKC contest for really cheap. But they’d have to bring their own snacks.

When I go to Wisconsin for Christmas, I’ll be looking for it.
