Mid-day diversion: Deion Sanders sings!
Posted on December 3rd, 2008 – 11:12 AMBy Michael Rand
MC Creme Fraiche passed along this Deion Sanders catastrophe earlier today. He’s singing or rapping or something. It’s just awful, and that’s what makes it so great. Maybe you remember this version of “Must Be the Money.” Hey, does Nelly have a lawsuit on his hands? This song appears to have come out in 1995, well before Nelly put pen to paper and came up with a song of the same name with those very words featured prominently in the chorus (Brandon remix). That link will also let you know that Deion released a remix in 2005. He must have decided by then that Power, Money and Sex (his religion-leaning book released in 1998) had not, indeed, almost ruined his life. In any event, it makes a nice temporary diversion from all the Williams talk.

It’s gotta be the nails!
I think my favorite part is when he says, “Sal Paolantonio, tell me how my {redacted} tastes.”
Just furthur proof that if you’re not a singer/rapper, then you should not try to be a singer rapper.
I used to work at a record store with a guy who actually like Deion’s album, therefore I’ve heard the entire thing multiple times.
That Nelly song is titled “Ride Wit Me,” Grandpa.
get off my lawn, Brandon.

Who *doesn’t* want to party all the time?

I saw a kid bite it on these in a bowling alley last weekend. Talk about entertainment!

Can you tell me the section number of the “seats” you have for Saturday’s wolves game? I want to see if I can see you from courtside.
Courtside? How much did they have to pay you to take those seats?

They were free.
What ever happened to Deion’s hotdog cookers? I haven’t seen any ads lately.
