Friend of the RandBall cohort, radio personality and fearer of Twitter Kraig Applecherry alerts us to some rather interesting remarks made yesterday by former Vikings receiver Cris Carter (one of us!) about Dallas receiver Terrell Owens. Interesting, you know, if you consider “I take one bullet and put it right in him. Bam!” to be merely interesting and not, say, a murderous declaration. A kindly soul has put the audio, from ESPN’s Mike and Mike, onto a YouTube video. Here you go (via Awful Announcing):

Yeah, we know Carter didn’t literally mean he is going to fly to Dallas and fire a slug at T.O. while he’s doing exercises in his driveway. But still. That’s going a bit too far. Maiming we can see. Or? The Cowboys could just cut him. Wait! Forget we said cut! Cris, come back! Considering T.O. passed Carter in all-time receiving yards this year (he’s up by about 200), maybe this is all just jealousy.
