TFD: Be safe tonight, kids
Posted on December 31st, 2008 – 4:26 PMBy Michael Rand
We’re cutting out a little early, so barring some sort of Love Boat II-type story, this will be the final post of 2008. Some announcements:
*There will be some sort of blogging going on here during the Vikings/Eagles game Sunday. It will likely be intense. We have created bingo cards, and we would be happy to e-mail one to you. It’s everything Newbie asked for. So please stop on by from, say, 3:30 to 6:30 Sunday. Remember: if the Purple loses, we have to bowl a game in short-shorts. Nobody wants that. Also on Sunday, there will likely be some other special on-line features involving yours truly. We’ll keep you posted on that, but keep these words in mind: Jell-O wrestling.
*There will be limited posting tomorrow. It certainly won’t start at 9 a.m. That’s all we have to say about that.
*Be safe and be smart tonight. If a former NBA rebounds leader or an annoying former sit-com actor try to give you a ride home, take a cab instead. Sage advice. Always.
*The Gophers kick off in about 30 minutes. The entire fate of 2008 rests upon their shoulders.

Awesome. Thanks Mr. Randball. But will it be simulcast on Deadspin? I only read live blogs of games on Deadspin… oh what the heck it’s the playoffs, I’ll be here.
Happy New Year Randballers!
All of Stu’s Huntdown’s are great. But as I remember it, his Scott Erickson Huntdown in the spring of 2008 prompted my first ever comment. Thanks to everyone for a nice year.
If you see a drunk guy streaking in Eagan tonight, it’s probably me (or La Velle?). If found, please lay a towel down in your backseat and drop me off at the address written on my hand (or return La Velle to Al Baker’s).
Either way, Happy New Year.
Clarence, I see you’ve done the New Year’s Eve streak before. Way to prepare!
How outstate Minnesota am I? I will be drinking homemade wine from Renville County at a house in Stearns County.
Top that, girls. Merry Christmas.
35-14 early in the third quarter…somebody call Washburn-McReavy - this season’s dead.
Happy New Years, Randball!! Here’s hoping for another year of fantastic posts, amusing comments, and [redacted] redactulars.
Good Morning RandBall! The first vertically challenged American to wake up at our palatial Macalester-Groveland estate did so at 6:30 a.m. Yippee!
/OK, so I was asleep by 10 p.m.
Anthony LaPanta just got completely thrown by a text question about his tie.
Quick, somebody text him about his hair!
was it from Local Quipster? I should go into the booth and give him a hard time. I’m out here at the X.
