King of all media Super Rookie takes another spin through COW country. We find it only fitting that being mere hours from our Vegas departure for Roughkat’s bachelor party, SR has chosen to poke fun at the man. Say this about The Rook: he usually provides his own art. Here we go:

Sorry for the delay in the postings. I have had a lot of important things to take care of in my scrambled world. Perhaps the most interesting of all things is that you just can’t walk into the St. Paul Curling Club on Selby Avenue and learn how to curl. Who knew? In fact, they are all booked up and you have to sign up almost a year in advance for one of two teaching sessions. It should be noted that I ran into former Twin third basemen Mike Pagliarulo. He said, “Ever since Koskie came into this city I have been overshadowed for my love of winter sports.”

I digress.

The other night I snuck into Roughkat’s house found his iPod. There was a playlist entitled, “Grandmas 09.” I found the following songs:

- “The Way It Is.” Bruce Hornsby and the Range
- “Right Here Waiting.” Richard Marx
- “Muscles.” Diana Ross
- “S.O.S.” The Jonas Brothers
- “Hammer and Nail.” Indigo Girls
- Every single ever released by Nickelback.

Now, onto news in my marginal sports world.
- Beckham is probably not coming back to LA.
- Landon Donavon is probably not coming back to LA.
- Don’t worry! LA (Lance Armstrong) is already back.
- Not to be outshined, Floyd Landis is back next week.
- Mexico vs. USA in soccer next Wednesday. World Cup qualifier. Get on board.
- Speaking of soccer. The Minnesota Thunder is offering up $5 seats this season. Beer and Soccer. What could go wrong?
