The news on Al Jefferson is in, and it ain’t good. Stensation sent us the Blackberry message a few minutes ago that said simply: “Big Al. Torn ACL.” So there it is. If you are looking for any possible silver linings: Kevin Love should see plenty of minutes the rest of the way; the Wolves’ chances of hanging onto their top-1o protected pick are even greater; and with any luck, Jefferson will be back by the start of next season. If you are looking for dark clouds, please consider that Jefferson is by far the Wolves’ best player, a reason to watch them on a nightly basis, and a budding chemistry between he and Love will be put on hold.
