Wednesday (RandBall Feud) edition: Wha’ Happened?
Posted on April 8th, 2009 – 9:15 AMBy Michael Rand
This morning seems like a good time to debut a new feature we’ve been mulling over called “RandBall Feud,” which is *certainly not* derivative of a television game show. Here’s how it will work: we will put out five subjective questions, and we will determine the four best answers to those questions (possibly with help from our suveys … er … faithful readers). Those answers will have four potential point values: 40, 30, 20 and 10 depending on how good they are. Five questions, 40 points max for each one, so 200 is the best score possible. Here we go:
1. On a scale of 1-10, how important was the Twins’ comeback victory over Seattle last night, which allowed the team to avoid falling to 0-2 to start the season?
2. What five-percentage point range (e.g. 80-85) best describes the Wild’s chances of making the playoffs?
3. If the Wolves end up with the No. 6 pick in the NBA draft, who will they wind up choosing?
4. How many games will the Vikings win this season?
5. If he’s healthy for all 16 games, give the 100-yard range (e.g. 4,200-4,300) for how many rushing yards Adrian Peterson have in the upcoming season.
Our answers and discussion around 11. Please try to get your answers in the comments by then. Not sure yet what the winner gets aside from boasting rights for a day.
