[Update]: Apropos of nothing other than thinking about the bases being loaded and a recent conversation, did you know that five of Jason Kubel’s 48 career home runs are grand slams? If Barry Bonds hit grand slams at the same pace, he would have finished his career with 79 grand slams. Lou Gehrig is baseball’s all-time leader with 23 in his career.
