Friday (The Hangover) edition: Wha’ Happened?
Posted on June 19th, 2009 – 8:37 AMBy Michael Rand
We had a suspicion from the very first time we saw a preview for “The Hangover” that it was going to be a classic comedy. And, last night, our suspicious were gloriously confirmed. We will not spoil any of the plot or the best lines for those who haven’t seen it (other than to say: not at the table, Carlos!). But let it be known that “The Hangover” is the perfect comedy and everything a funny movie should be: unpredictable, a little outrageous and memorable.
For some morning fun, we will now open up the floor with this premise: what is your all-time “I can’t believe that night happened” story, parts of which you might not even remember. For us, it probably involves a karaoke bar in Cambridge, Mass., a walk back to Boston in the wee hours, and a series of unfortunate events/regrettable decisions along the way, some of which may or may not involve public statues.
And now: we golf. [If the sordid story thread wears out before we’re back, feel free to discuss the startling awesomeness of Nick Blackburn].
Fasola-link! Conspiracy theories.
