TFD: David Kahn also talks to Brandon, on the street
Posted on July 7th, 2009 – 4:43 PMBy Michael Rand
Brandon sent us the following e-mail this morning. He also sent it to Roughkat, thus completing the triangle of $3 season ticket authority from last season:
I saw David Kahn while walking to work this morning. He was near Chambers headed toward the Target Center. I stopped him and told him I was a big fan of the Wolves and excited about the recent moves. He asked me my name, and we shook hands and talked for a few minutes. He thanked me for being a fan and said we wouldn’t have to wait long until they’re competitive. Said it was an exciting time for the franchise. Very friendly guy. While it was a rather ho-hum exchange in the grand scheme of things, I am a needy and desperate person, so you can officially color me Kahnverted.
I realize this is boring/irrelevant, but I wanted to share and you are the only two I could imagine would be remotely interested.
So now you know: Brandon will stop people on the street to talk, and David Kahn will listen. Two things you might not have known before (OK, one thing).

That’s a lot of bs just to work in the word “Kahnverted”.
There is no way this is true. Kahn mentions becoming “competitive” without quantifying exact win:loss ratio over X number of games, and Brandon does not castrate him right there on Hennepin? False.
Brandon - would you describe your encounter with Khan Kahn as “Atmospheric”?
KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHN!
Muxhut - I decided to leave out the part where I grabbed Kahn by the shorthairs and wouldn’t let go until he divulged his projected WARP for Flynn next season. Seemed uncouth to mention.
Kahn has my ear.
Tell Kahn I would trade Rubio, Love and a first round pick for one entrance ramp to 35W.
all these updates are satisfying my kahnstant craving.
ramon - I’m in on that as long as it’s a one-way entrance ramp and you never return to our fair city.
I think that my previous comment was way too serious for this post. I regret my previous comment and seek understanding and forgiveness for having posted it.
I haven’t run into Kahn (or Rubio) on the streets of Minneapolis (yet), but it would be fun to talk to him. We do live in a “very small” big city. These types of encounters are very common, obviously.
I hope some day I can run into Kahn in the skyway. I’ve got almost as big of a mancrush on him as I do on Rubio. Almost.
