Stu has an amusing find: Doug Mientkiewicz is not only on Twitter (as dougiebaseball, no less), but he appears to be using the micro-blogging site to wage some sort of one-sided war of words against Nick Swisher.

Please do check the link for the full account, but do be advised that it starts with Doug referring to Nick as a “turd.”

What has caused such animosity? As Stu notes, perhaps it’s the fact that Swisher never won a gold medal for his country.
