Window pain

No sooner does Roadguy learn how to dispose of road kill in Minneapolis than he happens upon a new kind of hazard:

Yes, that would be a storm window, right there on 38th Street. Why it darted out into traffic is something Roadguy will never know; what he does know is that the city pledges to come along and clean such things up if you give 311 a call. (I avoided hitting the debris, but I did try to move it off to the side. Without gloves or a broom for the zillions of shards, though, the task seemed unwise — as did lingering on the pavement in the dark.)
If you know how other municipalities handle these things, or if you’ve encountered an unusual bit of roadside detritus, please share. In the meantime, Roadguy will look into printing up some “I brake for combination storm windows” bumper stickers. He can’t just sit by and do nothing.
