Rosedale’s Arrow of Doom

Roadguy has road-tripped from coast to coast, crusied along Italy’s freeways and even driven a left-side stick-shift jeep in the Australian outback. But few things in the world of transportation confuse him like the roads around malls. The ring road at Rosedale Center, for example, is not only counterclockwise but at times counterintuitive. Check out this arrow that directs cars to turn into a lane of oncoming traffic:

It caused me a moment of confusion as I was driving in, and as I paused to observe other arrivals, it was clear I was not alone:

(Be glad you weren’t pulled up to the white line at the stop sign. Crunch.)

Clearly, the offending arrow needs to ease on down the road a bit. Where’s that Giant Eraser when we need it?
