Roadguy is a little behind on his links, but here are a few on the theme of technology and driving:

  • Deadly distraction? A Minnetonka High School senior who died when the car she was driving crashed in September may have been looking at her iPod at the time; story from today’s Strib is here.
  • Google at the gas pump: Stopping at a gas station for directions may soon involve the Internet; article from CNN is here.
  • Carputers? Alert reader Karen sends along this story, which looks at the convenience — and safety issues — of having a computer on the dashboard.

Unrelatedly, here’s another story that mentions the idea of opening Nicollet Mall to cars and making Hennepin Aveune a two-way street downtown.
