The 2007 Roadguy Holiday Gift Guide

Much like Roadguy’s actual holiday shopping, this year’s gift guide is behind schedule and low-budget, but here are a few last-minute ideas for that special (or not-so-special) someone on your list.
First, a few books to keep transit riders busy:
Bus and train passengers should of course read every word of their daily newspaper before consuming any puzzles, but some mornings, the 7:10 from Eden Prairie takes longer than you’d like.
For those who prefer carpooling, what better gift than this recently released novel?
Roadguy hasn’t read it, but it’s highly recommended by the author of “The Princess Diaries.”

The back cover says the book’s characters “hurtle along the back roads and side streets of life…. Sometimes, the hairpin curves are just too tight, and the speed too high, and all traction is lost.” (And sometimes it’s hard to put the brakes on clichés.)
