Quick notes from the world of alternative transport

I got to talk to a bunch of people, including Melissa, who’s the director of 494 Commuter Services, which helps commuters find alternatives to driving alone.
It was a beautiful morning to be out and about; then shortly after noon, all heck broke loose weatherwise, so I paid a visit to a transportation system I don’t much use in the summer:

Not everyone loves the skyways, but they had lots of fans who were seeking to avoid a lunchtime drenching. And pretty much everyone keeps to the right without much conflict.
