When online directions go awry: What’s wrong with this picture?

We’ve talked before about how some drivers take their online directions a little too literally. Well, over the weekend, Roadguy was headed to a party in St. Michael (out near Albertville on the way to St. Cloud), and here’s a screen grab of the satellite version of the map that Google drew:

Something seemed not quite right, and a closer look revealed that, if I’d taken the prescribed route, my car would’ve torn up some grass, narrowly missed a few back decks and ended up in a field:

Additionally perplexing: The map view showed roads under the arrows, and clearly there are no roads right there.
Fortunately, an old-fashioned paper map saved the day — and spared some lush lawns. And I think I’ve figured out how to tell Google the error of its ways. If you’ve had this happen and/or have tried to notify one of the mapping services, please share in the comments below.
