Another way not to cheat in the HOV lane

I think a baby carrier with a doll would work out pretty well.
Lo and behold, Dale the Truck Driver sent in this photo, which he says he got from a former Minneapolis officer (and which includes the driver’s obscured face):

Aww, the baby is so, uh, cute and realistic… (I think I prefer Gandalf — or a transponder.)
In response to other HOV/HOT lane comments, this link to a column of mine from last June talks about how babies (post-natal) do indeed count as people for HOV purposes. And yes, when the sign says “open” on 394, or when it’s off hours on the lane on 35W, it’s open to all. However, I’m pretty sure the reversible section on 394 is never open to solo non-paying drivers.
