All, Taking the weekend away from the keyboard. Expect to be back Monday morning. In the meantime, I recommend Patrick Reusse’s column on Jim Rantz, the Twins’ minor-league director, who is being inducted into the team’s Hall of Fame tonight. He deserves the honor.
In another millennium, Howard Sinker covered the Twins for the Star Tribune. Today, he is a commentator on baseball and other sports for Minnesota Public Radio's Midday program. He grew up rooting for the Cubs, back before it was trendy, has settled quite nicely into a season-ticket package in Section 220 of the Metrodome and owns two XM Radios. He'll provide an expert fan's perspective on what's happening on and off the field, as well as links to interesting and unusual baseball stuff on the web.
