Just looking at the probable starters for the next few days at http://www.mntwins.com/ and, for Tuesday’s game against the Yankees, in the spot between Bonser on Monday and Johan on Wednesday, is an unexpected “to be announced.”

That should be Carlos Silva’s spot, right?

I’m wondering if Gardy is thinking about bringing Santana back on three days’ rest to face the Yankees on Tuesday and then have him pitch on Sunday — the final game before the All-Star break — against the White Sox. Santana pitched a fairly easy six innings against the Tigers last night and, after all, this is a week of big games.

A bit of rotation juggling wouldn’t be out of line.
