There’s been no shortage of time-comsuming news recently, and I spent my Monday working with the reporters and others covering the flooding in southeastern Minnesota. So I have don’t have anything to say about the Mariners-Twins opener other than to tell you that I looked up at the monitor above my desk at about 7:15 and it was already 4-0 M’s.

It would be nice to have a respite from disasters of all sorts, don’t you think?
