Sunday morning and three things I want to see

Quick thoughts for the morning:
1. Joe Mauer walking into Gardy’s office this morning and saying, “I know I caught 12 innings last night, skip. But put me in there. We have an off-day tomorrow and that’s when I’ll rest.” (1 p.m. update: Didn’t happen. No huge deal.)
2. Brian Buscher in the lineup again at third base. I really like Mike Lamb, but the Buscher/Macri combo at third base could be part of the future. (Got this one.)
3. A sweep and another White Sox loss — and the Twins are 3 1/2 games out of first. Perhaps the illusion of a title chase, but it’s a lot more fun than what we were thinking last weekend. (Pending. I’ll take 2 outta 3.)
Two “list” posts in a row. That streak will end tomorrow — probably.
Happy Father’s Day, all. Drive safely after the game if you’re coming back from Milwaukee and go here to send us your photos and videos from your weekend in Wisconsin.
