Still, I blame a lot of their horrid post-season record on Gardy. Stubbornly throwing Phil Nevin up there as DH every game. The whole “it’s an honor to even be here in the 1st round” mentality. Lacking the burning desire to “WIN” is what dooms MN teams to eternal mediocrity.

You should change your name to The New and Improved Jason. Or better yet, The Shiny Happy Jason.

I was going to suggest Jason Morneau, but then it seems Jason is the guy that has been batting behind Mauer all this time.

Slide Young into the 4 hole for awhile, see if that does it.

Twice Scioscia made Mourneau look like a fool. A two-pitch gidp and then Justin cannot even get the bat off his shoulder the next time. Hopefully it will piss off Mourneau enough to wake him out of his post-all-star game coma.
