This post’ll be quicker than that game

I think I raised Young220 pretty good. Home from college for the summer, I received a txt msg from him at the stroke of midnight: CREEEEEEEEEDEEEEEEEE.

My opinions is this is a day to defer the messy issues that surfaced during last night’s win and simply celebrate that the Twins survived, rallying and re-rallying and ending it all with a crack of Joe Crede’s bat just before midnight. While I wouldn’t think to mandate what you can and can’t talk about, let me humbly suggest that you simply celebrate the good and fun things that happened in the 14-10′ner and hold off on the other stuff for at least a day.

Take advantage of the opportunity.

One other suggestion: Don’t get too worked up about today’s lineup, whatever it is. With games coming up for the next 18 days,  a noon game after a five-hour  energy sapper is a fine time to trot out a lineup you might not see under too many other circumstances.

Enjoy.
