I caught up briefly with Jen Hughes (right), who is a hairstylist at Juut in downtown Minneapolis. Last February, I followed her from fashion show to fashion show as she worked backstage. At the time, texture was all the rage. Now, hair is smooth again. The Lhuillier show hair was a cross between a geisha and a samurai. They finished off the look with a lot of Air Control. I recently visited the Aveda headquarters in Blaine for a story about their limited edition aroma, Rose Attar (see the Source section in the Star Tribune on Sunday).
