A Minneapolis-based nonprofit was chosen as one of six beneficiaries for the “Fashion Gives Back” designer T-shirt sale sponsored by Glamour magazine in conjunction with Fashion Week. The American Refugee Committee’s Darfur relief effort will receive 30 percent of every $68 limited-edition T-shirt  (only 250 were made) designed by Sophie Buhai and Lisa Mayock of Vena Cava. “We really wanted to do something to provide basic needs and medical care for women and children affected by the conflict in Darfur,” Buhai said.
