Talk about the theater of fashion. Badgley Mischka started off with their sportswear, which was surprisingly great (top, right) and wearable, including denim. Then moved to their off-the-rack evening attire. Then for the big ta-da, went for the gowns, all red-carpet stunners. While Badgley isn’t my style, the gowns were unquestionably beautiful in black, golds and many shades of grey. Surely front rowers Amber Tamblyn and Rachel Bilson picked a few of their favorites. The crowd gave a rare standing ovation.
