I caught Giada De Laurentiis waiting for her camera crew before the Badgley Mischka show. She wore head to toe J Mendel and looked so chic. “I’m very much into fashion. My husband is a designer for Anthropologie,” she said. Do food and fashion mesh? “Absolutely. I’ve named some of the antipasti after designers.” Sure enough, she’s hosting a cocktail party in the tents tonight where she’ll be serving such dishes as Oscar de la Polenta. I can’t make it because of the Joynoelle bash, but perhaps we’ll catch up when she’s in Minneapolis for her book tour this spring.
