Reminder: Uggs aren’t waterproof/saltproof

So I stayed in New York for a few days after fashion. I’ve paid a fashion price. Despite the fact I live in Minnesota, land of mythic snow, my Uggs faired far worse in New York’s snowstorm on Wednesday. The snow melts so quickly, that it was unavoidable to step in deep mushy puddles. (And in New York, you still walk around even in the inclement weather.) Once your Uggs are wet, your feet are cold. Then once, they finally dried (two days later), the salt damage was fully revealed. Fingers crossed that the over-the-counter remedies help. Â
