Colin Covert: Clint Eastwood– Still The Good

I have to say, seeing Clint Eastwood stumble a little over the introduction to Ennio Morricone’s honorary Oscar makes me like the old gunslinger even more. What comes through so clearly is the appreciation of one consummate pro for another. A bit of garbled syntax doesn’t spoil that. It’s the human, unscripted moments like that I cherish about the Oscars, when the mask of the professional impersonator slips and we glimpse the person behind it.
