I can’t think of any type of browsing that is more stimulating than staring at the jewelry at the Walker Art Center’s gift shop.

Last night (a “Free Thursday”), I did a quick drive-by of the cases. I was struck again by the work of local artist Karin Jacobson. Her necklaces and earrings (like these, $72) have inspiring geometries, are well-made and look dazzling and elegant on everyone.

Check them out online and try them on after you see the Frida Kahlo exhibit (it’s almost over!).
