I admittedly haven’t been to Covered in a while. The Dinkytown boutique is a premium denim-lovers heaven, with a wall of Hudson, True Religion, Serfontaine and many more.
However, what impressed me most yesterday was the wide array of other clothes, especially jackets. The turquoise raincoat ($79, by Tulle) and the safari anorak ($73) are simply perfect for spring. They’re exactly what you want to wear over your jeans. The anorak would also look cute over the blue T-shirt dress ($53, by LA Made), which is softer than the usual fabric thanks to the 70% bamboo.
When I left Covered, I realized I’m ready to not wear my puffy coat any more. More good news? Covered will soon be opening in a second location on Lagoon in Uptown.
