Last night, a gathering for the One Percent Club provided entertainment in the form of a live painting performance: Patrick Pryor went from blank canvas to Music Sketch #15 to the jazz stylings of Jim O’Neill on keyboard, Dave Madson on bass and Aaron McCabe on trumpet.
The cava and Simon Gilbert cabernet sauvignon (2004) flowed freely as appetizers were passed at Create Catering’s Dining Studio in Northeast Minneapolis (more on that later). The crowd favorite? Dessert! An ice cream bar complete with candy toppings.
As for the One Percent Club, it’s actually free to join. Members simply pledge to one percent of net worth annually or five percent of income to the cause of their choice.
