Last night, I was running through Whole Foods and took a wrong turn only to stumble into these tanks and tees by Maggie’s Functional Organics.

These basics are made from free trade organic fibers. The colors are rather intense. I found myself drawn to the earthy terracotta shade. They’re $15 and couldn’t be more convenient.

Whole Foods, two locations:

Minneapolis: 3060 Excelsior Blvd., Mpls, 612-927-8141.

St. Paul: 30 South Fairview Av., St. Paul, 651-690-0197.

Sara,

Thanks for sharing your experience with Maggie’s Organics’ tanks and tees! I am interning for Maggie’s this summer and am very excited about our comfortable, durable, and affordable products. In addition to tanks and tees Maggie’s also sells organic socks, lounge wear, tights, baby clothes, and more! My favorite are the cross tops, which come in sleeveless and 3/4 length styles and are on sale in our new Maggie’s Outlet (http://blogs2.startribune.com/blogs/stylepoints/2008/06/10/daily-stylepointer-apples-and-t-shirts/)

I would love to hear what other readers think of Maggie’s products, so please share your comments and/or email me at maryl@organicclothes.com Thank you! Have a great day!
