I drive on Hennepin basically every day. Last night, I was cruising by 21st Street and noticed what looked to be a clothing store sandwiched between The Terrace hair and Sebastian Joe’s. I made a slightly scary U-turn on Franklin to check it out.
Here’s what I know from peering in the window:

2004 Hennepin Ave. is the address.
Mehara Shaw is the store’s name.

I liked this dress the best of what I could see, but I appreciated the colors of the clothes displayed in the window. I got the comfortable clothes vibe.

According to the Mehara Shaw website, the company is about free trade and is connected to India. There are two stores in the U.S.–Minneapolis and Chapel Hill.

Any additional leads are most appreciated!

Where would a guy go for “comfortable clothes”?

I stopped in there the first day that they opened and picked up a beautiful orange hand woven cotton tunic.
I spoke with the designer who is based out of Chapel Hill - this is there 2nd US store, she designs all of the clothes, and they have opened up their own fashion house in India where all of the goods our produced. Everything in there is light as air and perfect for the hot summer months.
