My new obsession: Hudson. I had no idea that it was just 30 minutes away. And now that I’ve been to La Rue Marche, I have a new shopping obsession.
It is easy to spend hours in the jam-packed store that has a distinctly a shabby-chic feel. These days, I’m into clothes with subtle details but not too much bling. Case in point: The above ombre dress with textural rosettes ($129, by Lulu Via).

Then there’s the silky ruffles on the front of this billowy blouse ($109, by Glam Vintage Soul).

There are also lots of shoes, such as these Jeffrey Campbell pumps ($106). And racks and racks of sales.
Browsing in Wisconsin is so worth crossing state lines.
