It’s officially the time of year to wear as little on your feet as possible. The page designer who is responsible for most of my beautiful Star Tribune layouts found these “flip-flops” on the Garnet Hill website. Why the arbitrary quotes? Well, they’re much snazzier than the rubbery plastic footwear that we’ve come to rely upon through the summer months. (No offense to my Havianas</a, of course.)
Anyway, these upgraded flops are leather with rubber sole. Perfect with dresses and shorts. Also, they’re kind of on sale–one pair for $40 and two pairs for $70 on garnethill.com. They come in ten colors, it’s not hard to pick two.
