“Project Runway” predictions

Boo hoo! No Minnesotans on this season of “Project Runway.” There are lots of midwesterners and lots of crazy hair–thank you Christian. Based on appearances and not-so-revealing bios, here are the first impressions of the unofficial focus group who was studying the contestants with me this morning.
– First to go: Jennifer. She’s wearing a turtleneck in her photo.
– Best name: Suede. Say it out loud. Swwwwaaaaade. (Love streak of blue hair.)
– Best hair: Too hard to pick. There are lots mohawks. PR is all about “edgy.”
– Kept on for entertainment value: Joe
– Look I dig: Korto
– Too cool for school: Daniel

sad that there aren’t any Minneapolis kids, but I have a feeling that might change next season. The casting director for PR6 is HEAVILY recruiting for designers from Minneapolis (I’ve already gotten 3 emails about it).

oh… and I think that’s an awful photo of the cast & judges. It looks really photoshopped together…
I totally agree on the photoshopping! I was trying to figure out how many DIFFERENT photos they pieced together and if they were anywhere near Mood. GOOD SCOOP on the designer recruitment. Too much talent here to not be represented!
