Heather DeLapp was introduced to me as the “biggest supporter of local designers.” Sure enough, I immediately recognized her Kjurek Couture dress.

She lives in Northeast Minneapolis and frequents Cliche. She also shops when traveling: Her bag is from San Francisco and her BCBG shoes are from L.A.  We sat next to each other during the show commenting on the various looks. I can’t wait to see what Heather wears next!

Here’s Marguerite Koenig, a 2nd/3rd grade substitute teacher who also works at Nordstrom. She’s friends with one of the models and designer Kimberly Jurek. She got her outfit from Nordstrom: dress from the Brass Plum (BP) department, Franco Sarto shoes and Cole Haan bag.

Amanda Christine’s pre-fall collection was a hit–so is this outfit. She made her silk skirt (naturally) and paired it with a Target tank, belt from Francesca’s in Maple Grove and Nine West shoes.

Nice dress! Connie Nompelis got it at Cliche. Her shoes are from BCBG and her bag–it’s from Greece. (Her husband is Greek so it’s a little shout-out for him.)

Ironically, the one pair of Manolos I spotted last week were not on someone going to SATCTM, but on someone in the Gaviidae parking ramp after the festivities.

Nicole Echols of Minneapolis had just dined at Bank for her birthday. (Happy birthday!) The psychology grad student wore a Tibi dress from netaporter.com that was long, but she hemmed it herself. The pink Mary-Janes are by Manolo Blahnik and the purse is Gucci. Her necklace is by Me + Ro.
