These are the cutest shoes to come from the Gap in a long time. Thanks to lightweight denim and a pleated ruffle, these flats will work perfectly for a day at the office or a stroll around the lakes. They are especially good for in-between pedicures. At $39.50, you’ll definitely get your money’s worth.

I met Elinor Bradbury of Edina on Friday night at Bellanotte. She got her stunning mustard dress from H&M…in Paris. The St. Thomas student was there studying abroad.

Carrie, Charlotte, Samantha or Miranda. “Samantha and Carrie.”

However, our story doesn’t end there. I bumped into Elinor again at The View (at the Calhoun Beach Club) on Sunday. She was wearing a skirt as a dress. Fab!

Would you like that headline deciphered? Heather Hambrecht designs leather accessories and clothing under the label (h(om)e).  Here she is modeling her own  dress (around $450) and belt ($198) with Rosa Mosa shoes that she bought at Shoo Store in Milwaukee. (Heather actually lives in Milwaukee.) Many of her pieces are multipurpose. That “belt?” It’s loaded with pockets so it kind of serves as a fancy utility belt where you can stash lots of goodies. She calls it the “Buddha belt,” in part, because it will cover your buddha.

Her handbags are convertible. The silver hardware is removable so you can easily turn a wristlet into a wallet.

You’ll find (h(om)e) designs in the Twin Cities exclusively at Gallery 360.

Shelby Smith, junior
Outfit: Dress from Ever After Prom and jewelry from Claire’s.
Extracurriculars: Soccer and track
Prom date: Cody Johnson. They’re “just friends.”
How she asked him to prom: “I’m good friends with his girlfriend. [That girl] painted “prom?” on the window of Cody’s house. He loves lemonade, so then the carton of it in the refrigerator read: ‘Love, Shelby.’”
