Dawn is one of those rare moments when you get the impression that something magical could happen to you.
Shades of nude, lights, sunrise and dusk are layered to created illusions. Jersey and jacquard are veiled with tulle and folds embrace the curve. As the day breaks, she glows.

It’s proof! It was about 1000 degrees in there on the first few days, but putting up with high temps is just one of the things we do for fashion. Too bad you can’t see my four-inch heels… or not.

You can’t touch Glamorama 2008. At least, not compared to the previous years in my memory– MC Hammer and Cyndi Lauper? Might have been the best night in my life since I was in the front row of the Cyndi Lauper concert in 1986.

It’s Alan Kalter–David Letterman’s announcer/red headed sidekick. He was here for the Starkey Hearing Foundation’s gala on Saturday night.
You have to just love the sound of his voice…and his sense of humor.
Maybe next year Dave? Nobody would mind if you hit the hors d’oeuvres first.

Lou Ferrigno, you’re the voice of the Hulk in the number one movie in the country, what do you do?

Go to Minnesota! The Starkey Hearing Foundation’s gala, to be specific. Here, the alter-ego of the Hulk in the movies (he’s the voice in the current version) and the original TV hulk, talks about being green. It’s clearly not easy.

One of my favorite moments of the night. When Lou was posing for a photo and someone almost walked in front of the camera, he authoritatively put his hand out to stop him and the dude (wisely) halted. I wouldn’t dare cross Lou!

Let me explain: Saturday night was the Starkey Hearing Foundation’s gala. It was quite an impressive event–with a red carpet. A real red carpet with real celebrities. I have a few videos so we can all share in the MN meets Hollywood moment.

Let’s start with Lucy Walsh, a contestant from MTV’s “Rock the Cradle” and all around talent. We’ll begin here because we do talk fashion. Other videos are more for pure entertainment value…celebs too.
