Here it is…
Yes, it’s fashion week. Goodbye RNC, hello spring 2009. BCBG Max Azria was the first major show in the Bryant Park tends. There were billowing monochromatic neutrals, draped in light as air fabrics that floated down the runways. Bright fuchsia, teal and orange were used as pops of color.
I’m partial to how relaxed and yet designed this look is. Easy to wear.
An early trend? One-pieces, which Azria called “jumpsuits.” Cute, right? Love the draping across the front. But would you wear one? Would you buy one at BCBG?

It used to be that if Lindsay Lohan wore something, everybody wanted it. Not so much any more, especially since she got a little leggings-happy. However, the fact that Lindsay and Samantha Ronson wore this bracelet by Jules Smith doesn’t really matter–it’s pretty cool in it’s own right. The slick design and gorgeous metals– I’m into the yellow and rose gold versions. You can buy it in L.A. (of course!) at Kitson and online here.

Shannon Murphy from Rogers
Occupation: Makeup artist for Lancome. She did makeup for all of the male models in the show.

Favorite candy: Cotton candy (pink)
Favorite 1980s movie: “Breakfast Club”
