Tired? Achy? Looking for a unique spa experience? Try floating at RejoovMe (3826 Grand Way, St. Louis Park, 952-285-2993, rejoovme.com). Spend an hour in a private pod ($55), filled with warm (body temperature) water and 600 pounds of Epsom salt. You’ll hover on the top of the water and emerge relaxed and reinvigorated or at least refreshed. Why? Numerous therapeutic reasons–I kind of think of it as a massage without being touched.
For me, I went on day when I wasn’t sleep-deprived or tired or sore, so I was very alert as I drifted. (Note: Despite the photo, it is recommended you go in naked and the pod closes as much or as little as you’d like.) Even so, I felt a knot in my left shoulder work itself out in the course of the session. The following week, when I didn’t get quite enough sleep, I was weirdly alert, energetic and awake–in a good way. There’s definitely something to be said for sensory deprivation.

Okay, welcome to our temporary pop-up RNC special feature. I’m looking for all of the crazy political gear in shops for the RNC next month.
Starting us off–these tees at the MSP International Airport–Lindbergh terminal. I appreciate how they offer both sides, but I must say that I’m allergic to these tees…and very afraid for what’s to come.
If you spot something too good or too scary to be believed that falls into the RNC gear category–please feel free to send in tips or photos of your own (sglassman@startribune.com).

You may have seen the story about the Twin City Polo Club in the paper yesterday? You may be watching the Olympics.
For those who wish to embrace the two: The Beijing Olympics official polo by Ralph Lauren with a big pony and the official event logo. It’s available for men and women $125 on the NBC website.
My favorite part from the Ralph Lauren Olympics collection? This men’s straw fedora ($150). Seriously, guys, if you plan to attend a match any time soon, you need this.

I didn’t wear a nametag to IFP Minnesota’s 20th anniversary party at the Varsity, so I teased Minnesota-raised Rich Sommer — aka Harry Crane on TV’s “Mad Men” — for sporting one on his lapel. The modest actor explained that his character is from Wisconsin for a good reason. “Probably to hide my Midwestern accent,” he said. Does he think the slick suits of “Mad Men” are doing for men’s fashion what “Sex and the City” did for women’s? “For a guy who dresses slouchily, it’s a very heady thing,” Sommer said, noting he’d also been in the style-centric “Devil Wears Prada.” Then he offered us a sartorial exclusive: “I wore a suit from Men’s Wearhouse to last year’s premiere. It was the worst $300 I’ve ever spent.”
He looked really dapper at the MN event–in a Kenneth Cole jacket and shoes and Levi’s jeans.
Now he calls the show’s costume designer, Katherine Jane Bryant, for advice, so he definitely won’t be a “don’t” at next month’s Emmy Awards. Since “Mad Men” has 16 nominations, I don’t think Sommer will need a nametag there either.
Some scoop about his character: “I can tell you that Harry Crane is a more ambitious guy than we give him credit for.” Hmmm… Hmmm… from the preview of this Sunday’s episode, maybe we’ll find out what he means by that.

Confession: I haven’t worn jeans in probably six months, maybe more. However, an hour the permeating cold of San Francisco and that’s all I wanted to have on. Good thing I brought a pair of J Brands (and good thing they still fit!).
The hot style here? Skinny, mostly dark blue denim such as these True Religions ($172) from Bloomingdales.
Most of the skinny-denim clad gals wore flats with them. I heart a practical walking city!

I ran through Target the other day, getting ready for a trip to San Fran/Sonoma. I must admit that even though I love Sonia Kashuk’s products and Boots No. 7 Restore and Renew, I don’t usually linger in cosmetics there. However, it’s me for a new body wash and I decided to smell Brazil Nut and Vanilla body wash by boots. It’s like a sweet nutty frosting–so yummy. I’m not one to eat my soap, but this one is tempting.
This gift set is $19.99 or you can buy just the body wash for $8.99. Find them at select Targets.
One more thing: As I mentioned, I’m in San Fran and am staying somewhere with no television! Not just no cable, but no tv. I expect my IQ to increase about 20 points over the next few days. So instead of assuming that Suede talked about himself in third person and Stella was all about the leath-a, there will be no Project Runway report today… We’ll have an extravaganza next week.
