The BDP-S300 doesn’t have the ability to play enhanced features such as picture-in-picture back ground material and web-enabled extras via BD Live, as the PlayStation 3 does, but it also is at least half the price. That might be good enough for people who just want to watch movies in high-definition without all the frills.
